In Revelations in Plastic, a wealthy woman, with a penchant for church and French pedicures, suffers an accident at the hands of her husband, a plastic surgeon, who knows an agonizing secret about his wife. She loses everything and finds herself living in a trailer park with a former Pentecostal minister-turned-methamphetamine dealer who loves her unconditionally and claims to be God, until they discover the doctor has a few secrets of his own. The story takes a satirical look at religion, vanity, marriage, and the burgeoning field of plastic surgery.
